Description

The angel with a cloth is probably a fragment from the baptism of Christ icon. An angel is perfect for a birthday gift a gift for a baptism or even a baby shower.

I used the following Materials :

• A repurposed piece of wood measuring 13x15cm
• A gessoed canvas was cracked and then mounted on the light piece of wood
• Egg tempera and copper gold on athe gessoed canvas
• Shellac and an organic dye for an antique outlook
• Varnish
• A metal hanger on the back

The icon will be packaged as a gift with some little extras from our shop.
