Description

Faith Hope and Love together with their mother in this Custom Icon of St Sofia. This echoes like in First Corinthians: “…And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love …”.  That text, made me imagining  them as nesting dolls, one connected with each other, containing each other and at the center: Agape,  Love,  at the core of all “.

Materials 

• A prepared panel with a hanger on top
• The painting will be executed with eggtempera.
• Copper gold wiill be added on the halo st Sophia and of Faith Hope and Love
• Varnish and shellac will seal the colors

Delivery schedule- Timing

After the order, it is panel preparation and then the painting phase which will last about three-four weeks.  I send a picture update as soon as the painting is done.  The colours and the top coats (shellac and varnish) will also remain to “”rest”” and completely dry.

Finally when the painting is totally ready I will then pack the icon (prepared always as a gift) and send it first priority registered mail to you!”
