Description

The Red Deposition Cross. This is the saddest hour, where nature (sun and the moon) as well the Holy Mother and the Beloved Disciple are mourning.

A piece is painted with clear outlines and bold colors. It is inspired by medieval illuminations.

The materials used were:

• Acrylics
• A wooden board and its frame with a metal hanger attached
• After painting, the icon is varnished to seal the colors and produce an artwork that will last.

The Crucifixion icon comes carefully protected and wrapped as a gift with some little extras from our shop.
