A portable mini icon of Pistis St Faith. Faith is  pictured separately from her sisters. Her dress is bright citrine yellow.

A vivid memory of my childghood was the imaging of the three little saints (Faith, Hope and Love Pistis Elpis and Agape) one of the beautiful lithographies decorating my grandmas home- I wanted to pay a tribute to this

The materials I ve used were

• A prepared with gesso an piece (scrap wood) of a  wooden floor
• Eggtempera
• Copper gold with an copperish dye applied on top in order to have an antique look
• Water based varnish was used to to seal the colors
•  A hanger on the back

The icon  is packaged as a gift with some little extras from our shop
