Description

The St Michael the Archangel is holding a sword and a transparent sphere with the initial X (Christos).

The icon is a study on the work of a very influential painter that shaped Greek iconography as we know it today: Fotis Kontoglou

The medium for the painting is eggtempera. Several layers of it are applied on a prepared wooden board.

The icon is carefully packaged and sent along with  and some of our shop’s little extras to make a gift.
