The Holy Mother , in a gesture  if she is holding something (the body of Christ from Deposition) – An image  of the Lamenting Virgin. A traditional representation belonging to the circle of passion of Christ

• A mini devotional piece painted , on a  piece of terracota, washed by the sae. The thick surface was found in one of the beaches of the north of Crete
• I used acrylic pigments
• The colors here are limited: Sienna Red, Black, white and ochre
• The inscription is added on the side and there is a pattern on the back
