Description

Noah’s Ark painting. A biblical painting. Noah is standing on top of his Ark with some of the animals surrounding him. The dove on the left side, has just returned bringing an olive tree branch a symbol of land and a symbol of hope. The colors on this OOAK piece are limited. The message of the painting is a message of hope.

The natural sculpture icon is heavy enough to be standing (against an object for safety). Additionally there is a hanger on the back that is also covered with copper gold.

The painting is executed in eggtempera the materials used for the creation of the piece are:

• A beautifully carved frame
• A specially prepared, with gesso, wooden board
• Egg tempera that is an emulsion made by egg yolk and vinegar
• Shellac and resin varnish to seal the colors
• A hanger
