The icon of Our Lady Untier of Knots based on a catholic theme and imaging of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A Catholic Icon of Theotokos untying the knots of our lives
Materials
- A specially prepared plywood panel measuring 40×25 cm approx. and 1.5 cm thick
- Egg tempera
- The background will be gilded with copper gold ( that would have a patina on, to acquire an antique look)
- Varnish and shellac
- Metal hanger on the back
- Gift packaging
Method and timing
I will paint Our Lady Untier of Knots with the traditional eggtempera technique, and then sealed with varnish to create a piece that will last for generations.
The time needed for the completion of the order is one month. Finally, Pictures will be send at the beginning and the end of the painting process
