Description

A piece for the saddest hour. A Passion of Christ sculpture. This is a natural piece. I like painting on Beachwood. I believe that the saintly figures on these rough and irregular pieces are somehow confirming that there is holy everywhere in nature.

I followed the curvature and the lines of the wood and painted the image of the The Lord wearing the Crown of Thorns withThe materials I ve used were

• The prepared with gesso repurposed piece of wood
• Eggtempera and Resin varnish to seal the colors
•  A Crown of Thorns made from a berry bushm and a wooden base is also added.

The sculpture of the Lord Jesus Christ is packaged as a gift with some little extras from our shop
