Description
St Ammon of Nitria was a father of the Desert. One of the many many people that once searched for God in the Egyptian desert, in early christian times. The Abba is included among the founders of Monasticism in Egypt. The painted sculpture of St Amoun of Nitria, is inspired here by an old coptic fresco painting.
Materials used
- The Desert Saint is hand-painted with acrylics
- The wood (that is a long piece of driftwood) organically shapes the figure of St Ammon of Nitria like a natural sculpture.
- Varnish is used to seal the colors and produce an original artifact that will last
The light piece of surf tumbled wood has a hanger on the back. Additionally the painting is wrapped as a gift with some little extras from our shop.
