Description
A custom order for an Icon corner gift of St Anne icon on birch wood. The final piece would be similar but not identical with the reference image.
The materials for the byzantine icon are the following:
Materials
- A specially prepared plywood panel 18 cm approx
- Egg tempera.
- Copper gold for the background (that will eventually acquire an antique copperish look)
- Varnish and shellac
- A hanger on the back
- Gift packaging
Method and timing
The saint, will be based on the reference image. The painting will be executed with the traditional Eggtempera technique, and then sealed with varnish to create a piece that will last for generations. The time needed for the completion of the order is three weeks. Pictures will be send at the beginning and the end of the painting process.
Shipping
With first priority registered mail and may also last a couple of weeks depending your location. The icon comes carefully packaged as gift together with some mini extras from our shop
