Description

An icon for the greek name St Ismene an equivalent to Jasmina. One of the 40 Virgins Martyrs that we celebrate  on September 1st. The materials for the icon are the following:

Materials

• A specially prepared plywood panel 19x25cm and 15mm thick approx
• Egg tempera.
• The background is  copper gold ( that would have a patina on, to acquire an antique look)
• Varnish and shellac
• Metal hanger on the back

The Icon is packaged as a Gift. Please let me know if you want a dedication on the back
