Description

The Baptist and St John the Angel on Earth. The Forerunner is pictured  here  with wings, for St John was an Angel in flesh, sent before the Lord, to prepare the way for Him.

The materials I ve used were

• A prepared with gesso piece of plywood
• Eggtempera
• Copper gold with an copperish dye appklied on top in order to have an antique look
• Resin varnish to seal the colors
•  A hanger on the back

The icon of the Holy Forerunner is packaged as a gift with some little extras from our shop
